Jian Bu Hu Qian Wan (Ossifex Extract)

primarily used for interior heat due to yin deficiency, lassitude in loin and knee, flaccidity of extremities, emaciation, walking asthenia, red tongue with little coating, and thready and weak pulse. Actions: Nourishing yin and purging fire, enriching blood, strengthening tendons and bones.

Indications: It is indicated for flaccidity syndrome, marked by soreness and weakness of the waist and knees, flaccid tendons and bones, emaciated legs and feet, weary walking, reddened tongue with little fur, thready and weak pulse. It is applicable to tuberculosis of knee joint, myodystrophy, peripheral palsy, poliomyelitis sequel and others, which manifest chiefly flaccidity of the lower limbs.*

Directions: Take 10 pills each time, 3 times a day as a herbal supplement.

健步虎潜丸来源于《医方集解》所载虎潜丸。本方与大补阴丸均有熟地、龟板、黄柏、知母，有滋补肝肾之阴，清降虚火之功，用于肝肾阴虚火旺证。本方尚有锁阳、虎骨（现多用豹骨）、白芍、干姜、陈皮，故补血养肝之力较佳，并有很好的强筋壮骨作用，且补而不滞，为治痿证的专方。
