About the Author

Professor Feng Wei-bin is chief physician at the Second Teaching Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. He has engaged in several scientific projects, including research on the mechanism and effect of psychosocial factors on patients with diabetes which involved the use at 参芪片Shen Qi Pian, exploration of the relationship between blood stasis and peripheral neuropathy in diabetes, and research on peripheral neuropathy in diabetes associated with qi deficiency and blood stasis and its treatment with 糖痹胶囊Tang Bi Jiao Nang.

Professor Fan Guan-jie is a chief physician. He serves as Vice Director of the Diabetes Board of the China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Vice Chairman of the Diabetes Board of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Society. He is directly responsible for the creation of the new patent, 心脉康Xin Mai Kang, which has been approved by the State Food and Drug Administration of the People's Republic of China.
