This is a patent remedy based on the Chinese herb formula "Yi Qi Cong Ming Tang" (Augment the Qi and Increase Acuity Decoction) in TCM, which is indicated for treating diminished visual and audio acuity due to syndromes of long-term middle Jiao Qi deficiency, and dual deficiency of the kidney and liver. The main functions of this formula is to treat a weak fire agitation, arising from the kidney and liver, that disturbs the mental clarity and sensory acuity, and strengthen and raise the qi arising from the stomach and spleen to provide the clear yang qi and pure nutrient essence required for proper function of the brain and its sensory extensions.
