Urinary Track Decoction

Use for chronic urinary difficulty, bouts of frequent-scanty urination, uncomfortable sensation in the hypogastrium but no burning on urination, urine slightly cloudy, slight incontinence of urine on coughing or jumping, tiredness, depression, lower backache. The traditional formula "Bi Xie Fen Qing Yin" (Decoction of Collett Yam for Clearing Turbid Urine) in TCM is primarily used for turbid urine due to deficiency-cold, marked by frequency of urination with turbid urine as if rice gruel or cream, pale tongue with whitish fur, deep pulse.

Ingredients:
Tokoro yam (rhizome)
Grass-leaf sweetflag (rhizome)
Sharp-leaf galangal (fruit)
Poria (sclerotium)

Action: Tonify Qi, resolve Dampness, eliminate turbidity, open the Water passages of the Lower Burner, tonify the Kidneys.

Indications: Chronic urinary difficulty, bouts of frequent-scanty urination, uncomfortable sensation in the hypogastrium but no burning on urination, urine slightly cloudy, slight incontinence of urine on coughing or jumping, tiredness, depression, lower backache, dizziness, feeling cold. It is applicable to chyluria, seminal emission, chronic prostatitis, chronic pelvic inflammation, which pertain to deficiency-cold in the lower energizer.*

Directions: Take 3 capsules each time, 2 times a day.

清利湿热治不孕不育

萆薢分清饮是治疗下焦虚寒型淋证的代表方。

湿为阴邪，重浊腻滞，其性类水，侵犯人体最易损伤阳气。热为阴邪，易耗伤阴津，生风动血。湿热交织，蕴结于里，下注精室，则生精浊；下注膀胱，则发淋浊；灼伤脉络，则有血精。湿热内蕴，注于下焦，症见胸胁胀痛，目赤口苦，小便频数、短赤，会阴胀痛，婚久不孕不育，精液粘稠，死精子过多，精子活动力差，精液中带血，或见脓细胞等。湿热下注，则气机不畅，扰乱精室，治宜清利湿热。常用的代表方剂有龙胆泻肝汤、八正散、萆薢分清饮等。
