Ingredients:

Asiatic dogwood (fruit)
Chinese Sumac (gall)
Andrographis (above ground parts)

Actions: Clears toxic heat, sedates internal heat, resolves phlegm-heat, calms agitation and disturbed shen.

Indications: Use for a variety of severe heat problems including acute tonsillitis, acute mumps, or sore throat; also high fever and with delirium. Not appropriate for sore throat in early stage of wind attack; best remedy for sore throat due to internal heat.*

Directions: As a dietary supplement, take 10 pills each time, 3 times a day.
Warning: Do not use during pregnancy or nursing.

六神丸是家庭常备中成药，它具有清热解毒、消炎止痛等良好功效，通常用于治疗口疮、咽喉肿痛、扁桃体炎；外敷可治疗小儿热疖、痈疽疮毒、红肿热痛等急性皮肤感染和炎症。除此以外，六神丸还可用来治疗以下多种疾病：

腮腺炎：口服六神丸，每日3次，每次5-8粒，同时取数10粒六神丸用醋浸泡后涂敷患处，每日2-3次，可获良效。

牙痛：每次含服4粒，再用5-10粒研成细末，涂于患处，1小时左右疼痛即可消除。对牙龈炎、牙周炎等均有明显疗效。

带状疱疹：口服六神丸，每日3次，每次5-10粒，再用数10粒以醋浸泡后涂敷患处，每日2-3次，一般3-7天即可获得痊愈。

荨麻疹：六神丸对丘疹性荨麻疹的疗效确切，每次取六神丸2支，研成细末，用凉开水调匀，涂搽患处。轻者1次，重者3次即可获愈。

流行性感冒：成人每次口服10粒，每日3次。能明显改善症状。倘若配合口服复方扑尔敏等抗感冒药，疗效则更佳。儿童服用剂量酌减。

蛲虫病：晚上临睡前将肛门清洗干净，取5粒六神丸塞入肛门内，再取5粒化水涂搽肛门周围，连用4个晚上即可获愈。

未溃烂的疮疖：取六神丸10粒，用米醋或冷开水化开后涂搽患处，每日3-7次，可获良效。

服用六神丸时切忌将药丸咬碎，而需整粒吞服；服药期间应忌酒、烟、辛辣食物；凡有心脏传导阻滞的患者以及体弱、胃肠消化不良都应慎用六神丸；孕妇和有过敏史者应忌用六神丸。
