Aid Life Pill in TCM originally appeared in Zheng Zhi Zhun Sheng (Standards of Patterns and Treatments), primarily being used for reinforcing the spleen and promoting digestion, inducing diuresis and arresting diarrhea, in cases of stagnated food complicated with dampness-heat due to weakness of the spleen manifested as chest and abdominal fullness, no appetite, nausea and vomiting, dry mouth with sticky sensation, loose stool, mental fatigue and lassitude, greasy yellow fur.
