Use for epidemic hemorrhagic conjunctivitis, swelling and pain of the eyes, dizziness and tinnitus, dry stool, dark and yellowish urine. This patent remedy "Ming Mu Shang Qing Pian" (Bright Eyes Upper Clearing Tablets) is primarily used for dispelling pathogenic wind externally and removing pathogenic fire-heat internally in disorders of bulbar conjunctiva and diseases of cornea due to syndrome of severe pathogenic wind and heat, or syndrome of excessive accumulation of wind and heat.

Chrysanthemum (flower)

Actions: Clears heat in upper burner, dispels wind, improves vision and relieves pain.

Indications: Use for epidemic hemorrhagic conjunctivitis, swelling and pain of the eyes, dizziness and tinnitus, dry stool, dark and yellowish urine. It is applicable to acute catarrhal conjunctivitis due to syndrome of excess of both wind and heat; bacterial corneal ulcer attributive to excessive accumulation of wind and heat; herpes simplex keratitis due to wind-heat invasion of eye.*

Directions: as a dietary supplement, take 4 tablets each time, 2 times a day with warm water.
