Actions: Replenishing qi to enrich blood, nourishing yin to restore pulse.

Indication: Use for palpitation or severe palpitation from deficiency of qi and blood, marked by intermittent pulse, lassitude, shortness of breath, dry reddened tongue with little fur, or deficiency of qi and yin due to protracted cough. It is applicable to coronary atherosclerotic cardiopathy, rheumatic heart disease, viral myocarditis, hyperthyroidism, functional arrhythmia, chronic cough, emaciation due to consumption, plumonary fistula, and others, which manifest long cough, blood sputum, dry throat and thirsty, palpitation, shortness of breath, and intermittent pulse and pertain to deficiency of qi and blood.*

Directions: Take 4 pills each time, 2 times a day.

功能与主治：滋阴养血，补气温阳，宁心复脉。主治阴血不足，气虚血弱，赢瘦少气，心悸心慌，虚烦失眠，大便干结，舌质淡红少苔，脉结代；或虚劳肺痿，久咳不止，涎唾甚多，咽燥而渴，痰中有血，心悸、心烦，少气，失眠，自汗盗汗，脉虚数。 临床上用于治疗心律失常、病毒性心肌炎等多种病证，疗效显著。

服法与用量：口服，一次4粒，一日2次。

炙甘草汤处方源于《伤寒论》。现代研究本方具有抗心律失常、抗心肌缺血再灌注损伤的作用，能降低再灌注诱发的室性早搏和心律失常总发生率，并能缩小再灌注后 心肌梗死的范围。能对抗实验性“阴虚”动物的心律失常，减慢心率、消除窦性心律不齐、降低室性早搏发生率，并能改善“阴虚”证候。此外，还有抗缺氧的作用。
