for vertigo, headache, nausea, vomiting, chest fullness, greasy whitish fur, taut and smooth pulse, due to upward distirring of internal wind phlegm. The classical formula "Ban Xia Bai Zhu Tian Ma Tang" (Decoction of Pinellia, Bighead Atractylodes and Gastrodia) in TCM is primarily used for drying dampness to resolve phlegm and calming the liver to tranquilize the endogenous wind in cases where there is up-stirring of wind-phlegm manifested as dizziness, headache, feeling of oppression in the chest, nausea, vomiting, whitish and greasy tongue fur, taut and slippery pulse.

Ingredients:
Poria
Pinellia tuber
Gastrodia tuber
Tangerine peel
Bighead atractylodes rhizome
Licorice root
Fresh ginger rhizome
Chinese dates

Actions: Fortifying the spleen, drying dampness, resolving phlegm, calming the liver and subduing wind.

Indications: It is indicated for the syndrome of upward attack of wind-phlegm, marked by vertigo, headache, nausea, vomiting, chest fullness, greasy whitish fur, taut and smooth pulse. It is applicable to aural vertigo, neurotic vertigo, and others, which are chiefly manifested as vertigo, nausea and greasy whitish fur and ascribed to upward disturbance by wind-phlegm.*

Directions: Take 8 pills each time, 3 times a day.

本品根据《医学心悟》卷三半夏白术天麻汤方制成浓缩丸。方中以半夏燥湿化痰，降逆止呕，天麻平肝息风而止头眩为君；白术运脾燥湿，茯苓健脾渗湿为 臣；橘红理气化痰，生姜、大枣调和脾胃为佐；甘草协合诸药为使。诸药相伍，共奏燥湿化痰，平肝息风之功。主治痰饮上逆，痰厥头痛者，胸隔多痰，动则眩晕。 恶心呕吐。现代临床用于治疗眩晕症，癫痫，高血压，面神经瘫痪，结核性脑膜炎等。
